CNNGo reveals the rainbow nation. Trying to move past its hard history, South Africa is now embracing freedom to the fullest and celebrating the city's cultural crossroads. Designer of clothing line Naked Ape, Shaldon Kopman, gives us a history lesson at Constitution Hill. Then he shows us how far Johannesburg has come when we head to the township of Soweto which was once one of the centers of the anti-apartheid movement. Musician Thandiswa Mazwai gives us a tour of street art in Newtown and takes us shopping in a Zulu market. Then it's off to have some of Johannesburg's finest cuisine with Cube Tasting Kitchen's Chef Dario D'Angeli. We see first hand how one market is helping nurture the artisanal food movement here. Author Nechama Brodie takes us to Main Street to explain why Johannesburg is known as the city of gold and gives us a glimpse of the growing art scene. We end of trip with musician Siya Mthembu as he takes us to the historic Troyeville Hotel and performs with his band at the MiHouse Club.
